I've recently started reading some books dealing with the lore of Warhammer 40k and am a little overwhelmed when shopping on Amazon. Today you can get them in one big omnibus with two short connecting stories. Havent read any of Gaunt's, hope its not as bad as I hear. The Eisenhorn Omnibus was one of my favorite 40k reads. Dan Abnett is one of my favorite authors now. I was inspired by the slight derailment of the Star Wars EU thread when we started talking about Warhammer 40K novels, so I'll make a new one just for that topic. As far as Eisenhorn goes, it's one of the better sci-fi novels I've ever read, forget that it's WH 40k, forget that it's derivative fiction. The book is available as part of the Eisenhorn omnibus now in the UK and USA.
